Special request from the Virgin Mary: Assemble the Sacred Manger and send a photo

NOTE: The deadline for sending the photos was December 14, 2022. We hope that next year this request from the Virgin Mary will be renewed and that we will be able to share our photos again.

As in previous years, the Virgin Mary invites us to carry out a special task in December : to assemble the Sacred Manger in our homes and to send a photo beside it. The photographs will be exhibited on Misericordia María TV during the transmission of the Christmas Eve Vigil of Prayer (December 24) and the Meeting with the Virgin Mary (December 25).

In this way, our souls will be filled by the love, purity and hope that involve the Birth of the Child Jesus.
 

Devotion, simplicity, and creativity

Our Lady aspires that we be simple, creative, and reverent in assembling the Sacred Manger in our homes. What is most important is the devotion that emanates from representing the scenario of the Birth of Jesus.
 


 

Intercession for families

With the Sacred Manger in our homes, we will establish a channel of adoration and contemplation through which the Heavenly Mother and Her Angels may act to reconstruct the spirit of unity, peace, and forgiveness in the families of the world. 

Moreover, the Most Holy Mary explained that, in response to Her sweet request, we will be drawing to earth the graces that the Sacred Family of Nazareth received on that blessed night of the Nativity.

The Divine Mother also requested that from December 16 to 24 we pray the Novena for the Re-consecration of the Families of the World to the Sacred Family in front of the Manger. This prayer exercise will be broadcasted through the channel Prayer for Peace in the Nations, except on the evening of the 24, when it will take place with the Christmas Eve Vigil of Prayer, through Misericordia María TV.
 

  • GUIDELINES FOR SENDING THE PHOTOS:



    To participate in this spiritual task with the Most Holy Mary, it is requested:
  1. The person, family or group must appear in the photo together with the Manger. 
     
  2. When sending the photo, write your full name, city, state, and country in the e-mail message (e.g.Carmen Souza, from Sao Carlos, Sao Paulo, Brazil).
     
  3.  If the photo is from a Light-Network or Rosary of Light group, inform which region it belongs to (e.g.: Salvador Light-Network group).
     
  4.  Take the photo in landscape format, i.e. with the mobile phone or camera in a horizontal position.
     
  5. the photo must be at least 700kb in size.
     
  6.  Send the photo to the email: mangers@misericordiamariatv.org
